Astrology as the interpreter of Nature, shows us that the world is conducted according to a well defined plan and that all processes are arranged with an unerring accuracy. This ancient science shows us that nothing happens by chance. There are no accidents in the divine plan and in reality there is no discord for Nature recognizes no distinctions and works only for the progress of everything through a refining process which sometimes destroys only to reconstruct with improvement. We are here for certain, definite, natural purposes. Each is in his place according to an orderly or cosmic plan, with opportunities to produce certain results. But, it remains within each of us to determine the quality of those results by refining our reactions to planetary influences. Thus, it is seen that, although we are subject to the various seasonal changes and are affected by planetary influences, we are not altogether and absolutely creatures of fate. We are "FREE" according to our wisdom and we are "FATED" in proportion to our lack of understanding. Astrology is not a doctrine of fatalism. In fact, astrology provides us with an inventory of the working materials with which we were endowed at birth in the form of tendencies, mental capacity, physical endowment and abilities. But how we use or neglect to use our individual tools... remains within our own power.
